Agree to disagree.:lol: It is better than it was 10-15 years ago, but still not a desirable place.

I do agree Tuscaloosa and Auburn are both decent spots, although very different. Orange Beach is still my favorite spot in the state, but I have spent the most time outside of Jasper where most of my family is located.
 
I don't really get the appeal of Alabama, personally. But I did enjoy some great times at Judge Roy Beans in Fairhope before it burned.
