BOULDER (AP) - University of Colorado police say stolen credit card numbers were used to buy more than 110 tickets to the Buffaloes' season opener.

Police say they want to talk to anyone who bought a ticket to the Sept. 6 Colorado State-Colorado football game from an online seller. A credit card company has alerted the school that more than 110 tickets for that game were bought using stolen numbers. The tickets were allegedly resold online to unsuspecting fans.
CU Police Cmdr. Tim McGraw says the victims of the credit card thefts had no ties to CU. Police are asking anyone who bought online tickets to sections 105, 106, 217 or 219 to contact authorities. He said the fans may be able to provide online transaction data to trace the thieves.
To report suspect CU ticket sales, call CU Police Detective Brian Jordan at 303-492-8168.

Fans are trying to get their money back for that awful performance.

Sounds like the CSU players have moved from check fraud to credit card fraud...

The CU police ought to have this one figured out by about the 23rd of Never.

Who'se really willing to admit that they were even there. Knowing those ass muncher cops in Boulder they'll bust you for some other technical violation they uncover in the course of this thing. I smell a trap.

Yep. If the Boulder cops find out you were there, they'll arrest you under a Good Samaritan statute. How could any decent citizen be there, witness that, and do nothing to stop the ass raping?
