CU Lacrosse Begins Play With Fall Exhibitions

BOULDER – The inaugural University of Colorado lacrosse team will play three games and two tournaments for its fall exhibition season, head coach Ann Elliott announced Friday.

“I could not be more excited for the opportunity our team has this fall to compete against so many great teams,” Elliott said. “Our girls are very excited to play in their first collegiate game together and our program’s first as well. Our staff is really looking forward to finally have all our players on one team and seeing where we are at as a team. Each game we have is a great opportunity for us to challenge ourselves, gain experience and get better as a team.”

The Buffaloes open with a trip to Denver on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The Pioneers closed last season with an 18-3 record and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. DU notched perfect 8-0 marks in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and on their home turf
