BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team defeated the San Francisco Dons 3-0 at Prentup Field on Sunday afternoon in the Omni Hotels Colorado Soccer Classic, finishing 7-2 in non-conference play.

The Buffaloes started fast to take an early 1-0 lead behind a goal from Kahlia Hogg at the 3:58 mark. Senior Darcy Jerman sent a pass to sophomore Brie Hooks in motion in the center of the box. Hooks controlled the ball with two-touches, found Hogg at the top of the box, who stepped up and sent her shot past USF’s diving goalkeeper, Madalyn Schiffel.

Colorado would get two more goals after halftime.
