CU women beat South Dakota to advance in WNIT

VERMILLION, S.D. -- The season continues for the Colorado women's basketball team. Chucky Jeffery scored 23 points as the Buffs knocked off host South Dakota 64-55 at the DakotaDome on Monday night in the second round of the Women's NIT.

Wasn't to long ago that both men's and women's BB in Boulder looked to be dead. We have seen what Tad has done with the men, what Linda Lappe has done with the women is an interesting comparison.

I think that the women are on the way to the NCAA tourney soon. Having this kind of success in the NIT is going to help them when they do.
