Cal is 6-11 overall this season, but has yet to win a Pac-12 match (0-6). The two teams have a mutual non-conference opponent in Air Force. The Falcons defeated Cal in five sets on Sept. 12, while CU swept AFA on Sept. 20.

The Bears are led by Lillian Schonewise. She is averaging 2.65 kills per set and has the team’s best hitting percentage at .342, which is 10th in the Pac-12. Lara Vukasovic is second on the team with 2.61 kills per set. Cal is hitting .200 under the direction of Alyssa Jensen, who is averaging 9.82 assists per set (fifth in the conference).

Maddy Kerr leads the team with 4.11 digs per set (fourth in the league). At the net, Jenelle Jordan is posting a team-high 0.93 blocks per set, while Vukasovic ranks second with 0.91 blocks per set.

Cal leads the all-time series against the Buffs at 5-4, but the Buffs are looking to even the series this weekend. CU has won the last two meetings between the two teams, sweeping the series last year.

19-18. To CU after they lose a long point featuring 2 swings on free balls that don't leadxto kills due to a couple very good Cal digs.

Buffs get the 1st 25-22. (Pac 12 volleyball is scary- Cal being the only team without a conference win, and they don't look bad at all to me.)
