Thought I'd move this article over and use it as the game thread for tomorrow's match.

Taylor Kornieck may have earned a player of the week award. She was close to getting a second goal on a free kick in the second half.

She's had amazing number of game winning goals this season, I believe they said seven on the broadcast today.

Great that they have been winning, but and this is just my take on it, they are playing with fire due to their style of play and now Taylor is the only one scoring. Assitionally they have a style of play that gives the opposition plenty of opportunities to get win back possession as well as to get multiple chances on goal. This is because they play a lot of direct balls in a an attempt to hit a player farther forward. Most often than not this leads to a turnover and the ball is coming right back at them. Because they have a solid defense and great goal keeping they aren't giving up a ton of goals at this point. It will be interesting to see how they fare wit comes to the top tier teams such as UCLA and Stanford.

Kornieck is a monster. She's scored all of their goals in Pac12 play. Her goal against WSU was just dominant.
