Best of luck to the team. Go get the Jayhawks and Tigers!

(Note- shaping up as a potentially hectic weekend for me, so don't know how much I'll be able to update this thread as the matches occur.)

Just started watching, and it's 1-0 KU with ~15 minutes left in the 1st half.

The few minutes I've been watching, and the Buffs have been dominating possession. The announcer also said it's been 8-2 Buff advantage on shots.

As I write this, goalie Scout Watson is down after making a play to come out and save a goal. Looks like she's holding her jaw, but is walking off the field with just an arm around her. Jalen Tompkins is coming in to replace her.

Painful to outshoot a team 10-5 (7-2 sog) and be down 1-0 at the half.

No scoring in the 2nd half, and Buffs lose 1-0. Need to shake it off and get ready for Mizzou Sunday.

****

Looks like KU got someone loose off a long ball early and she beat the CU goalie for the score.

Buffs again got plays working and gained plenty of opportunities but struggled to put the biscuit in the basket.

Without seeing the entire match in person, it's hard to judge the Buffs', but it is frustrating that they are so close. And it puts a lot of pressure on the team to win the rest of the non-conference games with a mighty tough Pac-12 schedule looming.

This Week in Colorado Soccer (TWICS):

The goal they gave up at Kansas and the first one at Missouri were both due to a mistake/poor decision by the Buffs. It's tough to "gift" a goal, at thje same time they need to put a few more of their own in the back of the net. This season they really have the potential.

Interesting comments by Danny Sanchez about the travel and humidity impacting the Buffs' play.
