BOULDER — Colorado capped off an amazing weekend of volleyball on Sunday night, upsetting No. 17 Illinois 3-2 (25-17, 18-25, 25-15, 18-25, 19-17) in the final match of the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge.

The win comes one night after knocking off No. 13 Penn State (3-2), making this the first time CU has won back-to-back matches regular season non-conference matches against ranked opponents.

Once again, congrats to the team for the great wins!

(Hope they enjoy the Labor Day before getting back to the grind before facing 2 more tough teams next weekend, the U. of San Diego, who beat the Buffs in Boulder last year and have beaten Stanford this year, and UC- Irvine, who has already swept USC this year.)
 
The team was outstanding this weekend as was the other Pac 12 team who came to Boulder. Showed these two B1G team what the Pac is all about!

Katelyn Cuff is out until the conference season with an ankle injury.

Yes, enjoy the day off and then practice for the weekend.
