Best wishes to the soccer team in the desert this week, and congrats to frosh goalie Jalen Tompkins earning Pac 12 Goalie of the Week honors!

Also, the weekly soccer show with Coach Sanchez and company was released yesterday, and can be seen below.

(Not watching the match, but per live stats, looks like a pretty even match so far based on shots, shots on goals and fouls.)

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Buffs!!!

From Live stats-
"
*GOAL FROM FREE KICK
GOAL by COLO Kornieck, Taylor (FIRST GOAL).

Right before the goal (assume reason for awarded free kick that went in.?.)

Buffs have won 6 in a row to get to 8-3 (2-0).

Next up is Sunday at Arizona State 5-3-2 (0-1-1).

ASU dropped a home game to DU, which CU beat at home 1-0 in OT.

Arizona is 5-3-1 (0-2) and beat that DU team 3-0 in Tucson. If the common opponent thing is any indication, CU might have already won the tougher game on this road trip and has a good shot of returning home at 9-3 (3-0) with a 7-game win streak. Could have them sniffing the Top 25. Let's make it happen!
