Murphy and Clark are part of a five-person CU contingent that will be competing this weekend in Birmingham, Ala. They’ll be joined by seniors Connor Winter and Morgan Pearson on the men’s side and sophomore Kaitlyn Benner on the women’s side.

Just bumping this thread since the championships begin today.

For anyone just interested in the Buffs, looks like (as noted in the OP) the one race with a Buff in it today (Men's 5Km) is scheduled to start at 7:05 PM MT. Overall streaming coverage starting at 4:25 PM on ESPN3.

Great job by Buff senior Pierce Murphy, as he gets 3rd place! And, a 2nd Buff, Morgan Pearson, also has a great race and scores points with his 6th place finish.

4 Buffs ready to take the track, with 2 men scheduled to start in the 3K at 5:10 MT, with 2 Buff women right after that in their 3K. ESPN3 with the video stream.

Article on yesterday's races- http://www.cubuffs.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=600&ATCLID=210797738 . Congrats to the 5 Buff runners who qualified for and raced in the Championships, all of whom earned All-American honors.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Four Buffaloes earned top 10 performances on Saturday night at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in 3,000-meter run.

University of Colorado senior Pierce Murphy and sophomore Erin Clark each placed fifth in their respective races. Sophomore Kaitlyn Benner was eighth in the women’s race, while senior Connor Winter was 10th in the men’s race.

“My common aspirations is that we outrun our rankings, and I think we did that in all of our events this weekend,” head coach Mark Wetmore said. “Pierce had an excellent weekend, the best in our group, scoring in two events and earning first team All-American honors in two events. He’s having a really nice senior year.”
