FAIRFAX, Calif. – After three weather delays, the University of Colorado women’s golf team did not let that slow them down on Monday as the Buffaloes fired a 296 and are one stroke out of first place here at the Bay Area Intercollegiate.

The tournament, originally slated for 54 holes was reduced to 36 due to the weather. Teams played their first 18 holes on Monday and will finish with the final round on Tuesday. Heavy rains fell in the Bay Area Sunday night into Monday, which pushed the tee-times back by 45 minutes and then rain on and off all day, resulted in multiple stops out on the course.
