BOULDER — After a dominating performance last weekend at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational, the Colorado women's cross country team has taken over the top spot in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday morning. The men's team fell one spot to seventh.

Congrats to the women for ascending to the top in this week's poll for the 1st time since 2005! Keep up the great work.

Should be great Pac 12 races in Tuscon in about 10 days, with the women being challenged heavily by #2 Washington and #5 Oregon, while the men will have to pull the major upset over #2 Stanford and #3 Oregon to keep their Pac 12 winning streak going.
