Defenses holding strong in Boulder

Colorado and Texas Tech have had their share of defensive problems so far this season. Both has given up 52 points in a game this season and both rank in the bottom half of the Big 12 in scoring defense.

So far, each is playing well and the Red Raiders and Buffaloes are tied at seven late in the second quarter.

Neither offense has turned the ball over yet, and both touchdowns came on one-yard runs.

The defenses have given up just 200 yards of offense combined so far as the half winds down.
