I'm very tempted to vote exactly the opposite of their endorsements. The Denver Post is no friend of CU.

The University of Colorado or the University of Colorado Athletic Department?

Both. The Denver Post views CU as a snobby elitist institution.

If I'm choosing between a democrat who will support athletics and a republican who won't, my choice is clear. Party affiliation means nothing in this case.

This. I'm as partisan as they come, but I will happily screw over my own party if it benefits CU. That's the whole purpose of this board.

Party affiliation means far less at the local level, and CU is about as local as it gets.
