[IMG]Some*quick*notes on depth charts, which were released this week, starting in the South Division.*

Arizona: The four "starting" WRs*before preseason practices were Juron Criner, Richard Morrison, David Douglas and David Roberts. Now they are Criner, Roberts, Douglas and Dan Buckner, the Texas transfer.*Morrison is Roberts backup... Jack Baucus went from No. 1 TE to No. 3 LT. Drew Robinson is now the starting tight end... Three true freshmen are on the defensive depth chart. Rob Hankins is No. 1 at one LB, while Hank Hobson backs up Derek Earls at another LB spot. Cortez Johnson is the No. 3 CB, backing up both Trevin Wade and Shaquille Richardson... Jaime Salazar beat out Alex Zendejas at kicker.

Arizona State: Dan Knapp earned the nod over Evan Finkenberg at LT... True freshman Mike Bercovici is the backup QB ahead of Taylor Kelly... Bo Moos and Corey Adams are listed as co-starters at one DT... True freshmen Rashad Wadood and Ezekiel Bishop are backups at CB and FS, respectively, though Alden Darby is the No. 3 CB.

Colorado:**With a switch to a 3-4 defense, Josh Hartigan*moves from a defensive end to "Jack" outside linebacker. Will Pericak moves outside from tackle to end, while Conrad Obi is officially a nose tackle...*True freshman Greg Henderson earning the starting nod at right cornerback opposite senior Travis Sandersfeld... Sophomore Derrick Webb is the starter at the "Will" inside linebacker spot ahead of senior Patrick Mahnke... True freshman Kyle Washington is the backup strong safety behind Anthony Perkins... Senior receiver Tony Clemons and true freshman Tyler McCulloch*are listed as*co-starters at the "X" receiver... Redshirt freshman Daniel Munyer and sophomore Gus Handler will rotate at center.

UCLA: The big news is Dalton Hilliard eclipsing Dietrich Riley at strong safety... Senior Taylor Embree, who's battled a calf injury, is No. 2 behind Nelson Rosario at split end. Shaq Evans is No. 1 at flanker, where Embree was listed No. 1 before camp... Jordan James is the No. 2 F-back behind Anthony Barr... Iuta Tepa is the backup DE behind Damien Holmes, ahead of Keenan Graham... Jeff Locke will be the kicker and punter.

USC: Lots of "Ors" on the Trojans depth chart... Dillon Baxter, Curtis McNeal, D.J. Morgan and Amir Carlisle are listed as co-starters at TB, but Carlisle, a true freshman, is still a candidate to redshirt.... Robert Woods is the No. split end (he had been listed at flanker), while there's an "Or" between true freshman Marqise Lee and Brandon Carswell at flanker... Neither OG spot is settled, though John Martinez likely starts in one spot... Rhett Ellison ... Walk-on John Manoogian is listed as QB Matt Barkley's backup. He'd do mop-up duty. The hope is to not burn the redshirt years of true freshman Cody Kessler... Rhett Ellison has moved from starting TE to starting FB. Randall Telfer and Xavier Grimble are the top two TEs... Six defensive positions list co-starters... Senior DaJohn Harris has moved back ahead of redshirt freshman George Uko at one DT.

Utah: Jon Hays is QB Jordan Wynn's backup... Sam Brenner moved from left guard to right guard. Vyncent Jones is now the starter at left guard... JC transfer John White won the starting nod at tailback. Tauni Vakapuna is his backup... Luke Matthews is the starting FB... Jake Murphy has moved back to TE from FB, where he's listed No. 2... Reggie Dunn is ahead of Dres Anderson at "Z" receiver... Joe Kruger and Derrick Shelby are the No. 1 DEs... There's an "Or" between Dave Kruger and James Aiono at one DT... J.J. Williams is the backup "rover" LB behind Matt Martinez. He was listed as an "Or" with Chaz Walker in the middle...Mo Lee has moved up to No. 2 at right cornerback behind Conroy Black... There's an "Or" between Keith McGill and true freshman Eric Rowe at free safety and between Rowe and Michael Walker at SS. So count on Rowe starting somewhere or at least playing a lot.
