Here's this week's collections of factoids and stats, courtesy of ESPN Stats & Information and sports information departments from around the Big 12.
  • Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez has run the zone read 41 times this season for 533 yards and nine carries of longer than 20 yards, for an average of 13 yards per carry.
  • He's ran the ball on called runs 10 times for 180 yards, for an average of 18 yards per carry.
  • He's scrambled on pass plays five times for 61 yards, for an average of 12.2 yards per carry.
  • Taking out sacks and sneaks, Martinez is averaging 13.8 yards per carry.
  • His 12 carries of 20 yards or longer lead the nation, ahead of Michigan's Denard Robinson (11) and Oregon's LaMichael James (10).
  • More than 17 percent of his carries are for longer than 20 yards.
  • Nebraska's defense intercepts 8.1 percent of the passes thrown by opponents, the most in the nation. The Huskers only give up plays longer than 10 yards on 13.1 percent of their plays, fewest in the nation.
  • No. 2? Texas, which gives up more than 10 yards on 13.2 percent of plays.
  • Texas is 2-0 when unranked and playing Nebraska in the top 10, with wins in 1996 and 1998.
  • Mack Brown is 12-0 in the game following the Red River Rivalry.
  • Nebraska is tied for the fewest passing touchdowns in the Big 12, with four. Who are they tied with? Texas. Both rank 106th in college football.
  • In the last 50 years, Mack Brown has the best winning percentage against Nebraska, at 7-1, of any coach in the last 50 years who has faced the Huskers at least five times. Only six coaches have a winning record under that criteria. In the Big 12, Oklahoma's Barry Switzer was 12-5, Bob Stoops is 5-2 and Texas Tech's Mike Leach was 4-2. The only other coaches with winning records? Bobby Bowden and some guy named Bear Bryant.
  • Colorado has allowed just one rushing touchdown all season, to Cal's Shane Vereen. That ranks second nationally, behind Iowa, which hasn't allowed a rushing score yet this year.
  • The Buffaloes have outscored opponents 46-10 in the third quarter this year.
  • Robert Griffin is just the second Baylor quarterback to ever throw for 300 yards in consecutive games.
  • Missouri and Baylor are tied for the league lead in sacks allowed, giving up just one per game.
  • Every team in the Big 12 will finish with at least a .500 record in nonconference games for the fourth time in the Big 12's history.
  • Iowa State's last three opponents have been coming off bye weeks, including this week's game at Oklahoma.
  • If Missouri wins on Saturday, it will be the school's fourth 6-0 start in 50 years.
  • Kansas State is 140-5 with a halftime lead since 1990.
  • Oklahoma State has trailed at the half in five of its last seven wins, dating back to last season.
  • Six of nine meetings between Texas and Nebraska have been decided by four points or fewer.
  • Texas Tech ran 95 offensive plays in last week's win over Baylor, the most since running 111 against Iowa State in 2003.
  • Texas A&M is 7-3 all-time against Missouri.
  • Aggies coach Mike Sherman has never faced Missouri.
  • Missouri has won three of four meetings since 1999.
  • Oklahoma State's Andrew McGee has an interception in three consecutive games.
  • The home team has won eight consecutive games in the Texas Tech-Oklahoma State series.
  • Oklahoma has won 11 consecutive games against Iowa State.
  • Eighteen Oklahoma players have been drafted since the Sooners' last home loss, a streak that now stands at 33 games.
  • Oklahoma's home winning streak is older than the Xbox 360.
  • The Sooners have been No. 1 in the AP Poll more than any team in college football, at 97 weeks. Ohio State is at No. 3, with 94 weeks, and could overtake the Sooners in a month.
