But I can't help it. Yes we need to beat FSU first, but if we beat FSU Saturday. Is there a chance college Gameday picks Boulder for the CU/Texas Game?
I was looking at schedules and there doesn't look to be too much competetion on that day.

The only ones I see are:
Auburn @ Vanderbilt, but Auburn has a loss.
Ohio St. @ Wisconsin, OSU has a loss, but that game could decide Big 10.
Missouri @ Nebraska, NU might have a loss to VT by then.
Florida St @ Miami, FSU will be 2-2 if CU beats them.
Oregon @ USC, Oregon has a loss and gameday has been to LA once already.

Thats really all the big games that weekend. If CU is undefeated and Texas survives Arkansas like theu should. CU/Texas could be a huge game nationally between two undefeated teams.

Lets hype it up IF, IF, IF we beat FSU and maybe gameday will consider coming. It's been a long time.:smile2:

Does the fact that we're on FSN and not ESPN affect our chances?

Michigan in '97. The other time before that was A&M in '95.

Other times where CU has been the away opponent at a place where gameday was was Lincoln in '94 and Norman in '95.

Well, they havent been to a B12 school yet this year. So maybe Boulder or Lincoln will get to be host, depending on who takes care of business. Would be cool.

I don't think they do gameday where the game isn't on either abc or espn.

I have seen them do games where ESPN is not the broadcaster.

I'm sorry but I think it's far fetched that gameday would consider Boulder if CU wins this weekend. We haven't exactly blown away our competition.

Also, although it pains me to say it, I believe Florida State has a much better chance at beating Colorado then Va Tech beating Nebraska.

I'm going to assume it's Lincoln or Camp Randall.

Florida State looked bad man and Cu is getting better week by week. Look at the line improvement from the Eastern washington game to WVU game. CU should win this game and I am betting that Nebraska unfortunetly wins as well.

They'll pick either Wisconsin or Nebraska. Too bad, the more national exposure we can get the better

The thing is they probably want to be at the RRS should Texas beat us, and wouldn't want to be at a Texas game back to back weeks.

That doesn't mean anything. What matters is if CU beats FSU, we will be 4-0 and very likely be ranked playing another 4-0 team thats ranked. We are one win away from going through a OOC schedule nobody gave us a chance of running the table through. Trust me, if CU wins Sat, the nation will start to notice and CU/UT will be a big game nationally.

I do think the game will end up at Camp Randall though, but CU deserves it if we win Sat.

I was in the front row and appeared on TV almost every time for that one. It was an awesome experience. My buddies and I were in HS and 4 of us got there like two hours before it started I think to get that front row. It was cool.

Zero chance of Gameday being here. As someone mentioned, we are not on ESPN/ABC. ESPN is not going to promote a non-family of networks game.

True, but if the games are roughly equal or even somewhat close in national importance, they would definitely pick the ABC/ESPN game. But as of yet, I don't see a network listed for the OSU-Wiscy game.

Not always the case. Two or three years ago they did a SC/Oregon game and that game was on FSN, not ESPN or ABC.

You are 100% on that? Very, very strange for a network to spend all day promoting another networks game.

    I still say Zero chance.

About 95%. I'm pretty sure, I have a lot of Oregon fans in my family and I watch a lot of the ducks. I remember gameday and then ater on watchign it on FSN at night because I remember the announcer.

Gameday was in Norman last year for the Mizzou-OU game and that game was on FSN so it's possible for Gameday to be at a game not broadcast on ESPN or ABC. It happens more with SEC games and CBS and although it's rare, it has happened.

Yea, although it's rare, it does seem to happen about 2 or 3 times every year.

Exactly and what better reason than Boulder should two undefeated and ranked teams match up?

The SEC rarely has big games on ESPN or ABC, they are usually on CBS, I have seen gameday do SEC locations when the broadcaster was CBS. It's not about promoting what game ESPN is showing, thats not always how they do it.

Usually. I know NU/MU is scheduled for ESPN prime time spot and I can only assume that OSU/Wisky will be on ABC. More likely than not it will be in Madison since they like to go where they haven't been for a while and from what I can recall they were in Lincoln for the SC game last year and haven't been to Wisconsin for awhile. Plus they have two Big Ten homers on the staff that will be lobbying for it.
