Early returns on Sefo

I think the first half of next season will tell us a lot. He has an entire offseason to fill out and to tweak tge offense with the coaches. The training wheels will be taken off and he will either sink or swim.

We are quick to anoint him. Cody beat OU at home remember after a we had Bjax leading the team the year prior. If he struggles next year then (backup QB if not wood) is our savior.

He has some good things working for him and some things to improve on. Let's see if this staff can develop a QB. Right now I'd say he needs to work on going through his progressions.

If you can't see the difference between Cody and Sefo you need to get your eyes checked. And of course he needs to work on going thru his progressions. He's a true frosh that's started all of 3 games.

This. He is doing well and doesn't get rattled like Webb or wood, but he isn't expected to do much. It's a good way for him to get game experience, but we've all seen how losing affects someone's attitude. If he can overcome that he'll be good. And there's no way he wins "tons" of games in years to come. We still lack significant depth.

Much like Bama Charlie everyone gets their panties in a wad when there's some criticism. The guy is a gamer. Good. I just think it would be awesome if we are able to recruit a guy that comes in and takes his job or at least is a contender. There is so much complacency on this team it's sad.

I'd be very interested to hear what Hundley said to him after the game last night. As the camera was following Hundley, he was asking all of the Buff players, "where is your quarterback?" My guess is that I think he was impressed with him and wanted to offer some encouragement, but I'd be interested in knowing if that's what it was.
