The Pac-12 blog has not made it a secret that we think the conference is going to have some pretty good defenders next season. We're not the only ones.The Lott IMPACT Trophy announced its watch list for the 2012 season and eight of the 42 players nominated hail from the Pac-12. John Boyett, S, Oregon Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State Chase Thomas, LB, Stanford Patrick Larimore, LB, UCLA T.J. McDonald, S, USC Brandon Magee, LB, ASU Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah Ray Polk, S, ColoradoBoston College's Luke Kuechly was last year's winner.
