BOULDER – The University of Colorado lacrosse spring schedule will feature eight home game as the Buffaloes open the season at Kittredge Field on Feb. 11, head coach Ann Elliott announced Tuesday.
“I am very excited about our 2015 schedule,” said Elliott. “We were able to add some great teams to our schedule. Being able to play top teams like Northwestern, who has been in the final four every year since 2005, and Boston College, who had a great season last year making the NCAA tournament, is a great opportunity for our program in our second year and will help prepare us for our conference games.”
Colorado begins the season with three straight home games. The Buffs’ first game is against Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference opponent Denver. The defending MPSF Champion Pioneers finished the 2014 season with a 19-2 record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
