Arizona co-defensive coordinator Greg Brown is headed to Colorado to become Embree's defensive coordinator, according to a report in the Denver Post.

A spokesman from Arizona confirmed the move. Brown coached defensive backs from 1991-93 under Bill McCartney and from 2006-2009 under Dan Hawkins. After last season, he left to help replace Mark Stoops on Mike Stoops' staff in Tucson.

Additionally, Embree added former Colorado linebacker Kanavis McGhee to his staff. McGhee will coach defensive ends and outside linebackers, according to a report in the Boulder Daily Camera. He has no major college or NFL coaching experience, but was a senior on the Buffaloes' national title team in 1990, along with Embree's offensive coordinator, Eric Bieniemy.

The Post also reported that Arizona defensive line coach Mike Tuiasosopo has joined Colorado's staff. Neither Brown nor Tuiasosopo will coach against Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl.
