I was sure you were wrong and he was always #16, but I found a WillJeff #80 photo to prove you right. It's from his CU bio page, so it's not like someone just mixed up a Paul Richardson photo.

Anybody who wears the #1 jersey now might want to make sure that they do honor to the number. If they don't they will a short former running back who wore it at CU in a position to remind them of what is expected.
