Fairchild focused on CSU's plan

It's pretty simple for CSU - they've got one of the easiest schedules in college football. The MWC is much weaker with Utah and BYU gone, and CSU's OOC slate is a joke aside from the CU game. If he can't get to 6-6 this year with the 103rd toughest schedule (Phil Steele) then he is never going to take the rammies to any bowl games.

The article portrays Fairchild as being in the 'eye of the storm' -- it would say much more for CSU if that was actually true. The apathy surrounding their program is astounding. Most rammies don't even show up in Denver anymore for the one game they care about, let alone Fort Collins. They're hard pressed to even get 20k to Hughes, is this a program that can even manage being FBS?

Fairchild's legacy is to be the CSU coach who targeted out of state kids over the local players.
With that brilliant move, he's successfully disenfranchised even the local kids who aren't elite enough to play for CU.

Which school has more Texans and Floridians than CU? Fort Fun does.

I would say Stevie is on the hotseat, but it is sort of like the question if a tree falls in the forest, does anybody hear? Stevie doesn't have more than a handful of people paying attention anyway. IMO, he's on pretty safe ground...nobody cares one way or the other except for tens on ramtards over at goatnation.

Similar situation, but worse, than we had with Hawk. Fairchild should be on the hot seat with the record he has posted over the recent past. The school is feeling the pressure in losing some of what interest they have from fans, attendance is down, donations are down. Problem is that they can't afford to keep him and they can't afford to fire him, especially with the deficit that the athletic department already runs. With state funding down, donations down, and the football program already losing money (as well as lots of games) they will have a hard time dealing with the political backlash of paying of a contract on a football coach.

What did the goat AD do with the money that Pat Stryker donated?

Their schedule is an absolute joke - so if Fairchild doesn't have success this season, he never will.
