If you look closely between number 4 and number 5, in very small print, you'll see the words Notre Dame. It's hard to see them but they are there, ready to make an deserving post season appearance despite all logic.

Cal 12? Wow, seems pretty far down all because of some poor kid's dumb play at QB.

there is no formula for that in the computers... all they see is a loss to a 3-3 team.

Not to mention they're behind Oregon, a team they beat in Eugene.

That's a big problem they haven't figured out how to solve yet. They took out margin of victory/loss to discourage running up the score. But now a close loss looks the same as a blowout to the computers, and that isn't right either...:confused:

They should take the stats and the score together and figure out now to dilute their value but still use them.

or maybe a margin of victory? say you get more points for wins by bigger margins but maybe up to only a point. say 28 points? winning by more than 28 gives you no more points.

    any good?

Add the EDSBS Fulmer Award Score for good measure.

    Georgia 20 and Tennessee 21????

Tennessee beat Georgia 35 to 14

when a 21 point victory doesn't make you better than the other guy what is the purpose of playing the games. this system can't get more messed up.
