Sorry, but I dont think Sarkisian will get it done. I think he is a better coach than Willi, and maybe a better QB coach then New-weasel, but he's not the caliber to get them back to winning MNC's. Still too young, and not enough experience.

As far as the COrnholios go, well Bo-peep is BO-peep, and he will not take them to the promised land. He will fall flat on face sooner or later.

I don't know where UW will be heading but it will be some time before they get the ship pointed in the right direction. of course, it can only go up from here.

I truly believe, and this is not jaded by my hate of the fuskers, that they will go down before they go up.

CU has as good a shot as any of these teams and have already gone down and working our way up. That puts us one step closer than the nubs. I am optimistic that it will happen again for CU, just not sure when.

is joe glenn still the coach at wyo?

i don't see him winning a nc anytime soon at uw.

and isn't wilamette a lower division school?

i guess wisconsin might have a shot before CU.

i can't think of another uw school that might have even a remote chance in hell.

TBH I don't see it happening for any of us in the foreseeable future. I think it is pretty unlikely that we will see any first-time BCS winners any time soon - with the possible exception of Saban at Alabama; the guys at the top are pretty entrenched right now and it will be extremely difficult for other programs to dethrone them.

I voted for CU. We have an excellent shot at winning a skiing national championship every year. Cross Country, too.

None of these teams will win a national championship in football. Cross country - I'll go with CU.

Teams in the Big 12 North need to be focused on competing for Big 12 Championships before looking towards the big prize. Over the last 5 seasons the South has won the Championship game by a combined point total of 233-51. Until that statistic makes a dramatic shift a national title is a ways off for any program in the North.

No, I think we can have a kick ass ranked team, but national championship - a long shot. We just don't flat out have the $ and facilities to get there.
What's so freakin bad about a Top 20 ranking - I think that's a possibility. The USC's, Florida, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State aren't going to lighten up. I'd say your next national champion will be one of those 7 schools. I really don't see that changing alot in the near future. Just being realistic not pessimistic.

Well he seemed to do okay last season, but the next couple of seasons will tell us how he's going to do. I just think your hate for the Huskers is skewing your answer a little considering your opinion of Pelini is backed up by nothing so far. JMO *Cue* "You guys beat a worthless Clemson team and blah blah blah."

Just to be clear - hate for the fuskers skews nothing. It helps make one's mind far more focused.

Lots of Koolaid drinkers here! Do you all want me to book you room reservations at a hotel in Hastings, NE for the annual Koolaid Days celebration this summer?

It's sure to be a good time if we can get some Buff fans there to mingle in with the Husker fans that show up every year too.

I like red Koolaid myself. If you sweet talk the servers they will mix several colors and come up with a mix that will be close to "Buffalo Brown" just special for Buff fans.

    :cool::cool::drink:

Note the date: 11-27-2009, it's going to be an interesting day!

Well, maybe you could try a new thing and instead of typing it the way you do, actually type HUSKER instead. I guess I could start using sCUm instead of CU.

This guy. I think Washington has the resources, recruiters, and conference (most importantly) to make a run at the national championship.
