    Colorado safety Ray Polk spent most of the 2011 season injured but finding a way every week to play through the pain of a damaged wrist and fractured sternum to be on the field with his teammates.

    Six weeks too late to be of much help, unfortunately. But now I might consider taking the points. So we got that going for us.

    damn. the news that he did other damage to the ankle is really bad. Sounds like an eery reprise of Anthony Perkins last year... ****ing A, losing Polk was so bad for us.

    I wonder if it would be better if he takes the whole year off and just plays next year. He probably has a chance to get drafted his he comes back strong next year.

    Agreed. Nothing he can do to stem the bleeding in the next few games. Next year we can maybe win a couple of games, might as well be building for that right now.
