Former Buffs Beat writer Tom Kensler Hospitalized

Karma

Kensler is one of the best in the biz. Haven't heard anything but respect and admiration for him out of other media members.

This really hits home as I have gotten to know him thru the years of covering the Buffs and he is always one to say hi or call me after something big goes down with the Buffs. I hope for a speedy recovery and send him all of the karma I can muster. Get better Tom!

Brain aneurysm- that's bad. I hope he pulls through and is able to live a productive life.

All the best Tom.

He was undoubtedly the last really good Buffs beat writer from a Denver paper.

Appropriate that the tweet come from Frei, he and Kensler are both from an era when thinking and providing the right information accurately and with a minimum of bias were the hallmarks of a professional journalist, sports or otherwise.

Just sad that this kind of thing happens, worse when it happens to good people.
