I heard at 5 am the fire alarm went off in the hotel the team is in. There is foul play afoot in Cali.

Yes sir. I've got family that lives in Cali. No matter how you slice it it sucks wheter it was triggered by someone or a real threat.

The game is at 12:30 california time. I would bet 5:00 am is pretty close to wake-up time for a noon game, anyway.

in addition to they've been having meetings at ~6 AM and practice at 8 or thereabouts since camp ended.
