My daughter's school has a little newspaper. Keep in mind, this is elementary school. Well, little Shiloh Berger (5th grade) covered the CU/Missouri game and had this to say:
"On Halloween day, University of Colorado and Missouri played at the Buff's field. Missouri scores in the first five minutes into the game. CU was unable to score. Missouri got the ball back and scored again and again and again and again and again.
Right before half time, fans nthe student section started chanting "Fire Hawkins, Fire Hawkins". Tyler Hansen had 3 lost fumbles, 1 interception, 1 safety and 8 sacks. The Buffs held 55 yards of offense and a total of 4 rushing yards. The score at the end of the game was 33-17 Missouri".
I think young Shiloh might be giving Patrick Ridgell a run for his money for the top Buffs correspondent job.
