a.) Does this affect the game we lost in boulder?
b.) Can they please come up with a real penalty for these cheating schools?
c.) Woot?!? Hawks first winning season?

I'm not falling for that again. It turns out I can't even wear my "2007 Independence Bowl Champs" T-shirt.

They may have to vacate wins, but that does not mean that the outcome of the game is changed.

I knew there would be a serious post in this thread. Come on lets have some fun, the buffs had an 8 win season in '07!! :smile2:

On a more serious note, winning 8 wins in Boulder back in the 90's was a so-so season. Now 8 wins with two of them being vacated and we're happy.

    13-24*#

    * Includes 'Bama NCAA Forfeiture
    # Includes FSU Forfeiture.

If this keeps up, Hawk's record will be 13-24*#@^~ by the end of the summer.
Kinda looks like a post by 96.

As I read the first part of your post I was thinking "which is only slightly different than his current #@%^ing 13-24 record" guess you beat me to that one.

Nope. Because the semester was over by Bowl season. The ill-gotten text books had already been sold back to the bookstore by then. The NCAA is funny like that.

    You did it better.

Is it worth pointing out to Syko, Buffwings and the other "shut up and win crowd" that in spite of the offseason, an arguement can indeed be made that Hawk is improving his winning percentage when factoring in the asterix?

    13-24 = .351
    13-22 = .371
    15-22 = .405

If the NCAA penalizes 4 more programs with a wet noodle retroactive forfeiture, Hawk is over .500 in the mind of the sunshine pumper. Hell. If Nebraska and UT are proven corrupt, that would do it!

Fahggitaboutit. Any way you slice it, that percentage still sucks.

Speaking of Bama and FSU i think they both vacated the game they played against each other. So does a mutually vacated game exist? And by extension of that logic did the Southwestern Conference exist?
