LONE TREE, Colo. – University of Colorado women’s golf newcomer Tori Glenn is shining on the links this summer, earning a runner-up finish at the 99th Colorado Women’s Golf Association Match Play on June 26 at the Lone Tree Golf Club.
Glenn defeated Butler’s Megan McCambridge 2 up, Lewis University’s Rachel Sweeney 4 and 3 and 2001 Colorado Golf Hall of Fame inductee Janet Moore 4 and 3 to reach the 36-hole title match. Battling back from a double bogey-bogey start, Glenn cut the deficit to one down through 19 holes, but fell just short of one of the association’s most prestigious championships.
