I kind of expected to lose. I know i'm saying this after the fact, but all signs were pointing to a let down vs. a great D like FSU has.
I think a lot of us had bad feelings about this game. FSU needed it more than we did in my opinion and they had it basically at home. These are just games we have a history of losing. Looking at the schedule I could see us possibly upsetting Texas and or KU but maybe have setbacks against OSU or NU just based on history.
yeah. We should have a good upset this year. Hopefully we are experienced enough to avoid a ISU-like letdown.
Honestly - at the beginning of the year, wouldnt most everyone here said we would be pretty happy with a 3 - 1 start heading into conference play?
Today was just a tough day out there, lots of mistakes and really not bounces went to the Buffs. Let's regroup, and get ready for what appears to be a tough UT squad!
Agreed. We are just analyzing where we go from here, the how the team will perform the rest of the season. I dont think Cody is always the answer. Need to start another QB more snaps, prob Ballenger.
Good point.. 3-1 is something I think everyone would have taken before the season.
Buffs played bad but had chances in this game..
Cody gives us the best chance at winning. Ballenger hasn't done anything to become the starter.
And a chance is something we haven't always had. Despite this loss, things are looking up.
Enough with the name calling. How ****ing perfect were you at age 19?
I'm no fan of bashing a 19yo kid. Stop with the names.
I think some were predicting even less. I think that 3-1 is great but I think a lot of us were thinking we might lose against WVU rather than the criminoles. Oh well. I'm content with 3-1 and I still have high hopes for this year. :gobuffs:
Nope, just someone who realizes these are student athletes. Progress, not perfection.
Forgive me for not believing CH is the answer. He is a good QB, but will not take us to the promised land. I know it's not all on his shoulders, but maybe he's already peaked, and this is as good as he can get. He overthrew too many times, floats ball when the guy was beat, and still throws INTs that even his own dad, I mean head coach, complains about.
Nothing wrong with criticism, but there is everything wrong with name calling. These guys are Buffs. They are working their asses off in school and on the field. Name calling is just inappropriate.
Forgive my mistake.
He is 20. :smile2:
Please stop with the personal attacks.
Can we still give nicknames? Like C-Hawk.
 I hate you 87.
Well at least I didn't post a picture of a seahawk sitting on some pine.... Like this one.
Yep. 3-1 is great. Unless you traveled 5000 miles to see the "1"
Valdez, I know you were expecting us to lose. I remember you saying you had a bad feeling about that game. Do you really think that it was a let down vs a great D or just a let down? I didn't get to see the game here but it sounded like it wasn't their D that dictated the loss.
I'm 40! Attack me!
It was both. Cody was bad, the OL was bad, the recievers dropped balls. No excuses. We played like crap.
Separate names with a comma.
