Got our RB named Jones?

1300 yards, 34 TDs, 7.97 yards per carry
Played against top competition
Thrived on the big stage (31 rushes, 218 yards, 4 TDs; 2 catches, 71 yards, TD in the state final)

Looks like a solid pickup at a position of need. Hopefully he finishes strong academically and qualifies.

More of a reason why other schools would offer him.

We shall see if he qualifies...we shall see.

Sounds like a good pick-up but please tell me this isn't going to end up blowing in our faces.

There is no down side. That's how other schools oversign with numbers around 30 per class. This guy seems to have some work to do, but we got nothing but room. Will Jeff comes to mind. Josh Moten....

Lastly, I think his height coupled with questions on grades explain the lack of offers. He does say he's been talking to a lot of schools though.

The thing that makes me think he'll get in is that he really comes across as a dedicated guy in all his interview quotes. Kind of like Speedy with a chip on his shoulder from always having to prove people wrong about him. Obviously, we shall see, but this was an extremely welcome surprise that came out of nowhere.

He has been compared to Ray Rice and Dion Lewis. And the "steal of the 2010" class. Great pickup. Welcome to the BnG Tony
