Haug Named Academic All-District 7

BOULDER—Senior ski team member Andreas Haug was Thursday named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 Men’s At-Large team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Haug is now automatically nominated for Academic All-America honors.

Haug was one of 12 student-athletes honored in District 7, which encompasses Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. Even more impressive is the fact that the at-large team is a catch-all team for golf, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo and wrestling. Nationally, the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association alone honored over 250 skiers who have above a cumulative 3.5 grade point average.
