I have to agree....
Desperate. And now a blown redshirt for the young man.
What a complete piece of ****.
I hope he will be packing his cowboy boots and heading back to Idaho next week.
(Fake Cowboy...he's a (NO) Californian for gawds sakes!)
This should have been done at halftime of the CSU game, or at the latest, end of the first qtr of the Toledo game... after that it is too late and just a complete DUMB decision unless there was an injury.
If you were gonna burn his redshirt, then that should've been done in the first or 2nd game. But I feel like we're just stating the obvious.
Yeah too bad that needs to be done for our coach, and it is really too bad we can't make him read this!
Hawk the coach is brain dead. I think we all know he's an empty suit (if he wore suits). I just think people have gone overboard blaming Cody for his dad's stupidity. Hansen might have the potential to be a good quarterback but with the shi*ty line play and the lack of playmakers I don't think this year would be THAT different if he'd been starting all along. Maybe I'm wrong but Hansen hasn't shown me enough to think he's the missing piece of the puzzle.
This was obvious to everyone but Dan Hawkins. He is inexplicable.
What, on the road when the team is behind and the opposing team is just all out blitzing?
Talk about baptism by fire.
I have been screaming at my tv....saying you suck!!!!! However...it is done now so time to move on and rally around Hanson. Now...if the dumbfukks start Hawkins next week....well I wouldnt know how to react....My suspicion is that Kiesau (sp?) threw his head set on the ground and said I quit if....One last thing...everyone has been calling for a new QB...it is upon us now...lets hope it lasts
I had to close my windows I was cursing too loudly....
The next time Hansen or the O struggles one bit, Cody will be back in... Just like last year.
I bet they split the reps at practice this week too.
Wrong. Hawk knows the consequence if he does that.
pipe down dude, give it a ****ing rest! you act like it's john ****ing elway using a redshirt and like we have a team worth saving him for. **** 2 years from now!!!!!!!
This is a move that had to be made. Had to.
yeshhh...4 friggin games ago.
But the timing put Hansen in a bad situation. However, if he's now the starter, we'll be better off for it.
No, I really dont think he does... Anyone else in the world does, but not Hawk.
I agree. But I'm just happy the move has been made.
Please. I know you don't like Hawkins, but give him a little credit here. His gameplan had the no. 2 team in the nation on the ropes tonight. Nothing to be ashamed of there.
Why did it have to be made during the 5th game of the season?
Why bring up all the talk of redshirting Hansen only to trot him out in THIS particular game?
It really just seems like these coaches are flying by the seat of their pants and just hoping and praying from one day to the next.
True, I wonder if Hansen told Hawk that he better be the guy the rest of the way if he's burning another RS because he better be.
So you're mad that we didn't keep Cody in?
No. Hawkins gameplan had nothing to do with that.
The ONLY part of Hawkins' gameplan that did ANYTHING tonight was the very first drive of the game.
After that, it was two defensive take-aways inside the 20 yard line (which only generated 7 points, by the way).
 If we rotate Cody in next week I'm going to break my TV set.
I'm mad that we pissed away a redshirt in the 5th game of the season.
As I said at the time, Hansen needs to play EVERY SNAP from here on out.
Hey, guys, csu needs some fans. Go there. Please. Just ****ing leave. OK?
Okay Frank. Whatever you say.
