Anyone seen these guys in 2010? Let's get some sacks people....Simmons might as well redshirt.

Pretty sure Kasa had a sack.

Simmons suits up but it looks like he won't go in unless we get some massive attrition.

Herrod confuses me. He is barely ever in the game.

I remember when Simmons caught a 60-yard bomb to open the '09 season, and his Buff career, against CSU. I expected big things, but he's only caught a few balls since that catch. Very odd. And too bad since he's upholding a fine tradition of Buffs to wear #1.

I saw him on the inside on the goal line vs hawaii.

Herrod I thought would really tear it up this year as well as kasa and west. Still early but we need more production from those 3.

Yes, I know, but they haven't made too much noise is my point I guess.

If I remember correctly, Kasa would have had the safety if the qb didn't throw it to the running back and let him take it.

I believe Kasa did get the safety. Ahles had the QB.

Perkins got the safety. Kasa may get credited for a sack that is currently counted as a "team" sack. I thought I saw Simmons in jersey but no pads vs. Hawai'i, would seem that he's redshirting. Why can't Ringo ask someone about this?

Kasa was playing inside v. UH because, it looked to me, a mere unwashed fan with questionable FB knowledge, CU was putting their best pass rush people on the field. Since UH runs the ball as frequently as Congress votes down a pork laden spending package, it was probably a good idea.

I am under the belief that he is well down the depth chart and is not redshirting.

    I think this is telling:
Richardson (similar size and speed) arrived and was cleared to practice about the same time as Simmons.
Simmons participated last season and Spring practice.
Richardson is in the rotation of 6 and Simmons is not. Celestine and Espy are seeing time as well as #7 & 8.

So unless he is nicked up, I'd guess he's just not in the mix and his time at CU is about done. They will take a scholarship over redshirting him if he is not in the top 6 by now.
