WTF-are you serious?
A dry, dusty town in Texas? (Someone's obviously partaken of a bit too much Thunderbird!)
As a diction coach?
He'd have the whole team whining and slurring their words in a heartbeat!
Soft consonants are a bitch!
WTF-are you serious?
He beat the piss out off a few times when we were suppose to be bad asses......gave Urban Meyer a job at the same time......who we gonna hire?....there is NO ONE.....Bohn is scrambling to save his job!!!! clean house time for the uppers.
Now it't time to again mention Shawn Watson as the HC of of the Colorado football team. He has history with the Buffs, but has grown as a Coach more than any Coordinators on the Head Coaching list. Just saying!
'ol Sonny is just what we need - a mush-mouthed alchoholic dinosaur. Way to think outside the box.
I don't know. Lubick seems a little young at 75. Do you have any suggestions for someone in his late 80's or 90's? Also, we certainly don't want anyone tainted with recent coaching experience. If they have been out of football for a decade or more, all their schemes will be a big secret. We'll totally catch those young, energetic coaches in the PAC 12 off guard.
Lubejob is washed up, did you see his teams the last few years he coached?
Mac as HC, Watson as OC, Lubedick as DC. You can't say that staff doesn't have experience... :smile2:
Who has Auburn hired? Who has Tennessee hired? Who has Arkansas hired?
As far as I'm aware - only ONE team has hired a coach so far and that is Kentucky.
Enjoy the red
Sonny damn near burned CSU down as low as he found it.
I've never seen a guy who gave less of a **** as a college coach as he did the last two years he was there.
My poor lamb brother couldn't believe how bad Lubick was and how badly they bumbled his firing.
Of course, they beat us this year with one of their worst teams in a long time, so I guess the joke's on us.
I love telling this Sonny story:
A couple years ago, Sonny agreed to speak at the Rotary District Conference. He was given something like 45 minutes to speak on his experiences and how they correlate with the mission of Rotary. Dude rambled incoherently for a half hour without making any sense at all. He said stuff like "I remember Rotary from my days as coach. They had a club or two in Ft. Collins. I think I went to a few of their meetings". Ugh, it was horrible. It was a classic example of not properly coaching your speaker prior to his speech. The organizers didn't prepare him properly, and he just went up there and tried to wing it. Total disaster.
Neg rep me because you are stupid, brilliant.
Please banish this thread to the Isle....
I bet you stayed up late thinking about that one.
At this point who is coming to cu that's going to be johns big replacement.....I'll take the sanctions...tressel
Lubbick should be our coach like Lou Holtz should be BCS's speech therapist.
What if Lou had Lee to help him out?
The mute leading the mute.
BCS can say LeeLou.
You can't be serious.
Oh, I'm dead serious.
that was a great flick
