Xavier Johnson commitment: http://hoopniks.com/colorado-reels-in-top-75-prospect-xavier-johnson
The tide may be turning in Colorado, as they have a good young head coach in Tad Boyle, a new practice facility just opened, and the current staff is getting it done on the recruiting trail in a way that perhaps hasn’t ever happened. Tonight, Colorado landed their second commitment from a Top 100 prospect in the Class of 2012, 6′-7″ combo forward Xavier Johnson of Mater Dei (CA), according to Josh Gershon of Scout.com.
Chris Jenkins commitment: http://hoopniks.com/colorful-colorado-wins-over-chris-jenkins
The 190 pound wing forward can shoot from distance, but is probably best serving attacking, by putting the ball on the floor. He’s a solid add for the Buffaloes, who are undoubtedly looking forward to the basketball season

One thing I like about Hoopniks (other than the allsome site name) is that they're a compiler for their rankings. Their Top 100 is a composite from Rivals, Scout, ESPN, CBS/MaxPreps, Sports/PrepStars and Hot100Hoops. By averaging them out, it gives a solid feel for a consensus Top 100.

Josh Scott: #68
Xavier Johnson: #75
Top remaining CU target: Tyrone Wallace #89
