I like our situation in this setup and I think the California schools would like it but I can't see Oregon going for this if the only Cali school they are guaranteed to play every year is Cal. They won't do it, they will want SC or UCLA every year.
In this set-up, Oregon plays UCLA every year. This proposal was brought up around a month ago, and I agree, it's one of the best I've seen as far as trying to appease everyone.
Sorry to steal your thunder but this was already discussed:
oh well- **** happens when you get old... you forget things
just ask DBT
Stay postitive ITB.
If I had my druthers, I'd switch out Cal in favor of Stanford based solely on the tailgating opportunities.
I know, you don't have to tell me.
I like it.
I liked it the first time and still like it now.
I don't see how they could not do it this way. Maybe swap a couple of schools (Cal/Stanford for example), but it keeps the in state and regional rivalries and seems the most fair of anything that's been put out there.
This makes almost TOO much sense.
