How will the Buffs do in the Draft?

We wonder why we suck?! This is proof. Even our 3 fringe talent is not good enough to get drafted.

Awuzie and TT will break this trend but 3 JV level coaches in a row coming to P5 level has done nightmarish job for this program.

"Come play for us at Colorado. Yes, it's true that none of our players have been drafted the past two years but can we move past that?"

On the brightside, I can confidently say this will never happen again or you can ban me right on the spot.

2 years in a row, this site is too important to me to make the other bet.

What we are seeing is that CU had some seniors who were good college players, but still not there with next level talent. The recruiting classes at the end of the Hawkins era pretty much left the cupboard bare and Embree found a few guys in his couple years but that was punctuated with a ton of misses on guys who wouldn't even contribute. We'll see some Buffs drafted relatively high in 2017, led by Chido.

Yet another subtle sign that this was a bad situation for anyone to take over let along MM.

At least one of those 3 JV coaches appears to be showing that he's > than the other two. If this class beats the last class and the class in 2018 beats 2017 we might finally be digging ourselves out of this self imposed hole.

Rams WRs are garbage. Hopefully he takes advantage
Agreed. Although I'm sure he was hopefully to get drafted, but aside from that seems like a great opportunity for him. Close to home, highly rated QB, and very little competition at WR

When it gets down to the last round, aren't the guys usually better off being undrafted and sign as a free agent since they get to choose the team (assuming of course more than one team wants them as a UFA)?

Any decent recruiter easily moves past that. "Come play for us at Colorado. We've been going toe to toe the past 2 seasons despite having to play underclassmen. The Rise is happening in 2016 and you can be a part of something special."
