Nub "Store". There were two in Estes Park. One is out of business. I expect the other one to go soon now, too. The move to the B10 will not help that place one bit.
LOL at Nebraska fans. They move from Nebraska to Colorado and LOVE going to the Nebraska game. They vacation in Estes Park only. They buy their crappy gear at the Estes Nebraska store. And now they lose their reason to live.
Too bad Nebraska Estes Store. Rot in peace.
Yeah, it pisses me off that they ever existed. They used to have a nub radio network in Cali too. Still?
Estes is perfect, they're probably too scared to drive up Trail Ridge though.
Pretty bad parents, if you ask me. Kid is scared out of his wits, he the mom is getting a good laugh out of and elevating his misery.
Child Abuse!! I wonder what they told that poor little kid, that child eating monsters live in the Auburn store?
Funny, walking by that place last spring, they had a sign on the window that said, "This is Big 12 country!"
The owner is a former husker kicker and coaches the Estes Park high school football team
Last time I was in Estes Park, I thought there were 3 NU stores (or maybe one moved?). I hope they eventually all go out of business. I went into 2 of them just for fun & they were RUDE to us. Seriously, get the f*** out of my state.
did you wear anything CU?
Didn't wear anything CU but made our affliation known. It may not have helped that we made fun of Scott Frost's high school jersey being behind museum-type glass. :smile2:
no, he was carrying a book.
It did serve a useful purpose of supplying us with NU flags to burn that gameday.
If the parents are Bama fans they taught their kids well.
Concur. My three kids already live by the motto "Better dead than Red." I'm already getting them geared up for the wussiness associated with the color purple with our pending transfer to Seattle. Oh yeah, they hate green to, although on any given day, you never know what color UO will play in.
Black, silver, gold, blue, orange...the only colors allowed around the NB96 household. Oh yeah, Avalanche maroon too.
The last red thing I ever wore was a backpack that I got in high school and carried for a few weeks of my freshman year. "Better dead than red" was pounded into me very thoroughly when I started in marching band and now I don't think I own a single red article of clothing. Not even as an accent color on boxers. I just don't buy it if it's red or has red on it. I'm glad Utah is red too because I don't want to have to eliminate another color so thoroughly from my wardrobe.
I see you are doing a great job of teaching them to hate communists! Keep up the great work.
Good Luck in the 12-Pac!
I'm thinking you need to seek professional help with this "Red" phobia you have going on.
I have had Nub grads make my burritos before, but I have never worn the color red.
You serious? Pretty sure the point of kids is entertainment. Seem like perfect parents to me.
