    CU ranked 40 nationally.

    WVU 10

    Mizzou 5

    FSU 25

    Okie Lite 41

    UT 8

KSU "...May be seeking it's first conference W in mid-November.":wow:

NU "Shortbus Watson has ability to adapt to personnel....At Colorado he was content to blast defenses with big running backs". Apparently, the writer did not watch the 03-05 version of the SW WCO.

TAMU "Too many holes to consider a legitimate contender

Some good stuff there, pick up a copy if you like.

If you prefer Steele, like I know many do, it doesn't appear to be out yet.

A&M is really going to struggle this year IMO. On offense, they lost their best weapon in Bennett, so basically they are trying to shift to the WCO with inexperienced receiving options. Plus they are replacing four starters along the offensive line. They have a decent QB in McGee (not great by any stretch) and a very good looking RB in Mike Goodson, but that's about it.

On defense, they are very thin at LB. About as thin depth-wise as we were last year, but without Jordon Dizon to bail them out.

As far as K-State, their conference schedule is absolutely brutal. Look at the first six games in conference for them:

    10/4-Texas Tech
    10/11-@ Texas A&M
    10/18-@ Colorado
    10/25-Oklahoma
    11/1-@ Kansas
    11/8-@ Missouri

Sherman was a weird choice at TAMU IMO. I think you are right, McGee is an option QB and they have little experience on the OL returning. They do have one starting WR returning though. Goodson is ...good and Japorkie Lane is a load. I count four defenders returning. It may be a long year in Aggieland.

Sherman was a very uninspired choice. Plus they signed the guy to a seven-year contract.:wow: The A&M fans I know down here think he really is going to take them places. Of course, they have been thinking they're ready to turn the corner for about the last decade now. They are really going to have a tough time with Oklahoma, Texas, and LSU all being very good right now-their recruiting for 2009 is not looking so good.

The only thing in A&M's favor this year (much like NU and Pelini) is that the schedule is pretty favorable. Lots of home games, but that only goes so far.

aggy fans are a bunch of idiots.. Mike Sherman? You've got to be kidding me.. Heck, I would have kept Fran around if that was going to be their choice. He had two back to back wins over UT.

Buffs schedule is tough but I think if Scott is the real deal we might be able to get to 7-5, 8-4.. Worried about the defense wearing down again as the season goes on, so it would be nice if we could get off to a fast start. 3-1 nonconference record would be real nice..
