Is Hawkins the problem....

No one is asking for Hawk to work miracles here. A winning season in year four should not be impossible. We should not be getting dominated by Toledo in year four. At some point, Hawk has to coach the guys he has.

It would be one thing if it looked like we had anything resembling an identity as a team, but we do not. We look completely lost. We look like we are making it up as we go along. That should not be happening in year four.

Our identity is those 4 RB's and throw with a experienced qb after pounding the rock. The defense hasnt allowed this to happen yet. Or even close.

Running with four RBs is an identity? Sure seems like "making it up as we go along" to me. The offense has scored a grand total of six points in the first halves this year. They need to shoulder a lot of the blame as well. Again, it would be one thing if the offensive struggles were new. They are not. We have been mostly bad for four years now on that side of the ball.
