Is Jones for Watts a good trade?

Assuming both live up to their potential or rankings than it's easy....Jones. Having a stud QB will help this team get back on track much quicker than having a stud DB.

B. You hope that Montez/Sefo can elevate the team enough to win in 2016 and then you have a potential program changer at QB in 2017-2019. Plus Huntley and Maka could be day one starters themselves.
As a fan that's going to be tethered to the program in 2017 either way, I think that's the right call.

As HCMM, I'll take the other position. MM is likely coaching for his job in 2016 and needs to get to a bowl game. If he doesn't, everything else is moot as he'll be gone. If I'm MM, I do everything I can to make sure that the Buffs are as good as possible in 2016, which includes signing "package A," but mostly that would be for Webb. I think Maka will eventually be better than Davis and Huntley is already better than Ento.

However, since Jones has already transferred (right?!), then the more interesting scenario might be pick two from Webb, Maka, Davis, and Huntley
