It came down to 2 things and two things ONLY!

I guess I was going off Hawk's comments at halftime of one of the games where he said that everone was playing close to the line and they needed to get them backed off. The O-L certainly has more issues than we thought; and tis team cannot get alot better until they gel and improve. But I still see alot of good stuff. Last year I just felt that there was no way we would see the team improve greatly over the season, but now I do see that. We have lost to ASu and FSU, while not great teams, they are good teams. Last year we were losing to Montana State. Big diff to me.

FSU was playing very close to the line. They knew we couldn't run and moved up to stop the short passing game; they dared us to go deep.

Hmm... I thought the issue was that the FSU (and ASU) DL dominated our line but maybe the issue is that their CBs can shut down our receivers 1-1. Maybe the issue is a little bit of both. I just remember seeing the DL in our backfield on every running play.

They dominated in terms of run stopping but our pass blocking for the most part was pretty good.
