OK, I'm soRry. But Dan Hawkins has not gotten it done. Yet. Neither has Cody. I'm sick of losing. SICK OF IT! SO GO OUT THERE AN BEAT SOMEBODY, DAMMIT!

As for Cody. He is a D1-AA qb. HE SAILED THREE TD'S OVER WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS HEADS! NOT ACCEPTABLE!! IF HE WEREN'T THE COACHES KID, HE'D BE EITHER CALLED OUT OR BENCHED! BULL ****!

Yeah, so I'm an old asshole. Go ahead. Let me have it. But this was a game we should have won. I'm sick of being a gawd damned laughing stock. SICK OF IT!

Hey DBT. We're 3-1. Go buy a sixer of Ensure and relax a bit.

We should be 4-0. I know. I'm a bitter old fart. I am still a CU fan, believe it or not. But Dan Hawkins has got to start winning some big games. Really. He does. He just lost to an 85 year old has been.

Actually, his collection of 10 four and five star recruits just lost to a collection of 40 four and five star recruits. We are vastly improved from a talent standpoint, but we're still smaller and slower than a lot of the old superpowers.

Hawk's got our guys playing good ball, it's just that our talent hasn't yet gotten to the point where we can lay an egg against a quality opponent and expect to win. Show some patience, every team is going to have its off nights.

why not continue bashing cody in chat? maybe if you head in there and verbally assault him some more (while no one else is in there) i am sure it will make all the difference in the world.

the buffs OWE you. so troo. they do.

we beat two understaffed teams in ewu and csu, and we got a lucky win against wvu.

I hope Dan Hawkins has a more objective view on this record than any of you sunshine pumpers.

Just for the record, teams don't owe anything but effort and heart to the fans.

But the buffs owe themselves the will to execute out there for themselves.

FAILURE on that one for sure!

I give the defense credit in the WVU game. To overlook their preformance in that game is a mistake.

problem is outside of Iowa state and nebraska, every other team has a better to slighty better secondary. Cody needs to step the eff up.

Our secondary hasn't been tested really by anyone we've played. We should find out against UT though. Then we'll know how good our DB's are. I think Cha'pelle has been playing really well. Same with Anthony Perkins and Ryan Walters. Hopefully Jimmy Smith steps up.

Nice dichotomy to how we should approach the results of the game. We have the Cody Hawkins blows and is ruining the program threads and the Cody Hawkins is more man than you threads.

Cody's over throws were heart breakers/game changers. He has to be able to hit WIDE OPEN receivers. Some times he looks good. Other times he looks awful. I don't know what to make of him. His play hurt us on Sat. and that's all there is to it. Not saying bench him b/c I can's say Nelson or Ballenger are better. But he needs to play better.

    To those angry with cody...

his play also got us 3 touchdowns against FSU.

How many touchdowns have been scored against FSU this SEASON?

    4.

Considering that, and the fact that our Oline is one big sieve of a pass blocking disaster, I am pretty Ok with Cody. I do wish he would have won the game single handedly, but I am not overly concerned with him.

At least we are not in the situation of a Tennessee or a VT or almost every school NOT in the Big 12.

I'm not mad at Cody. I'm just bumed. I know he's just a kid and is doing his best. Just can't help thinking that if he makes 2 of the 3 plays he missed, we would be talking about CU being 4-0. We had a chance to bury FSU after that BS start and missed our opportunities. Way it goes I guess but I'm still bummed.

As John McKay once said when asked how he felt about the execution of his offense.

    "I am all for it!!"

That may be true but who have they played? Chatanooga and some other D2 school. Also, one of his touchdowns was when Cunningham returned the ball to what FSU's 15? He missed a couple to touchdowns too. I like Cody. I think he is the best QB we have but he can play better

Cody hasn't lost the locker room, has he?

So long as J-Fly, P-Will, McKnight, Crawford and the TE's believe CH puts the team in a position to win, that's all I need to know.
