Jon Embree narrows CU Buffs' punting competition

Colorado coach Jon Embree is going with his gut when it comes to choosing a punter. He promised to whittle down the competition at the position from three to two players Thursday afternoon and when he met reporters after practice he provided the second major special teams surprise of the week by ruling out incumbent punter Zach Grossnickle, the only scholarship player in the group.

Loving the emphasis on ST's....going at it again today....should hopefully see a marked improvement in an area that has been so painful recently
