Nothing ever goes our way.
Seriously. Get well soon Josh. I hate reading this.
Old news. Was there finally a release? I was surprised to not see him listed as injured on the updated depth chart. He hasn't played much but was apparently gonna start at Safety
How did he injure it?
Weve had more than our share of injuries the last 6-7 years.
Karma to Josh.
Is this public now? I don't like to post on the free board about injuries until it's "official".
That creeper at DP and others tweeted it.
yeah... saw the creepers tweet... didnt want to link it
playing football (?)
I hope this is the only ACL tear we hear about all of fall camp which begins next week.
Achilles is not ACL.
Achilles may be the one thing worse than an ACL. At some point (from a fan's perspective) it is all the same.
Trust me...Microfracture is worse than ACL. Far worse. Might be worse than Achilles, but I don't have a personal comparison on that one.
We have seen more and more guys come back from ACL and play in recent years, AP last year in the NFL, PRich for us this year is supposively pretty close to 100%.
Of the top of my head I can't think of many who have come back from the achilles without a long rehab period and it seems like a lot of them don't come back close to fully.
The microfracture just sounds like something I don't even want to get close to. I know that Kenyon Martin had it on both knees and is still playing in the NBA but others have it and just kind of dissapear. I have also heard that if you have it you are almost guaranteed of needing a knee replacement not to long down the road.
As bad as all of these are I'd still rather have them then to have long lasting or permanent concussion issues like Ted Johnson. Hard to live life if your head isn't right.
Don't get me started on microfracture. had it done in my ankle last Sept. It's still weak and sore all the time and I am pretty sure I'll never be the athletic guy I once was...
Isn't the Achilles tendon down by the ankle?
Talking about the microfracture which is usually done on the knee. It can be done on other joints (ankle, hip) but I was refering to the knee.
Achilles, A-Chi-Lles, ACL...dumbass.
I'm comforted to know that Snow will be on the scene with his business card in hand if a doctor performs microfracture surgery on Moten's Achilles.
Makes sense. It definitely does not stand for Anterior Cruciate Ligament
wait, they do Achilles microfracture surgeries in ambulances?
I got a mosquito bite on my Achilles last night. Mother****er itches.
Not necessarily as lucrative as it once was, but still plenty of money to be made there.
It's not something i would want to do a lot of... no thanks.
