I looked at the title of this thread and wondered, "why is this in the football forum"?

I take it you're not talking about the Allbuffs pick 'em on yahoo because the Ohio State game isn't on this list this week.

Clemson fails to convert on a 4th and 1 in the RZ. this is why i avoid ACC games.

55-7 now toward the end of the game. Turner Gill is wondering if Buffalo was a better job.

I thought about asking some of you guys off here but I found out too late we were gonna do it this year. There was talk we might not. Sorry Carolina I quoted myself lol was answering your question, my brain is everywhere these days.

Very overrated. For one, he is a twig and cannot hold up against big hits, but he is also makes a lot of poor decisions. I think he is very similar to Jerrod Johnson that regard.

BTW, Baylor in Folsom will not be a gimme. Griffin looks to be returning to his freshman year form. 460 total yards and 4 TDs today.

ACC football FTL! Great athletes all over the field, but mostly sloppy play.

TCU needs to pick it up, they gotta cover 33 points for me. I hate the high spread games.

6 turnovers and 18 penalties, not a pretty game.

Jacory Harris a great athlete and a nice arm but he just throws too many picks, and alot of them are bad ones. The best QB in the ACC is in Raleigh.

13-0 TCU, it's a start long way to go. Texas looks like us with all the damn penalties.

It seems to me that I remember some CU fans that were all for hiring Turner Gill. But I could be wrong.

And really, who knows how it's going to go for him in the long term. Even if the Big Man had stayed, he would have struggled with this returing group, I think.

Having said that...this is a pretty brutal loss to Baylor. Baylor, for Christ's sake.

I remember a few huskers coming over here explaining how Gill was the greatest coach in college football because he'd once been associated with nebraska and...well you know how it goes with those guys.

But again, give him a few years. Who knows?

What did he really accomplish at Buffalo?

He took a bad team and got them to mediocre 1 year.

    2-10
    5-7
    8-6
    5-7

He has never been a coordinator. I was never all that high on him. Seems like a good man, but this may be above his ability at least at this stage.
